• The state of environment of Lugansk region
  The state of environment of Lugansk region is determined by the following specific factors
• The ecological state in agricultural areas of the region
  The agricultural use of soil resources in Lugansk region is higher than in Ukraine in general and exceeds 80%. It disturbed the ecological balance among separate kinds of meadows and pastures, tilths, forests, swamps and water ecosystems.
• The ecological state of water resources in the region
  During the years of socialism many ecologically dangerous objects appeared on the Seversky Donrts river in our region among which are "Krasitel" from Rubezhnoe and "Azot" from Severodonetsk as well as Lisichansk soda and oil refineries, Schastye Hydro Electric station.
• State of the recreational zone in the region
  According to the territory of national parks Lugansk region is the poorest one. Since 1995 the chain of national parks has become wider. The following recreational zones were organized
